Only 32 hours of training is required to obtain a qualification in rope access, which can lead to very reasonable pay rates. Perhaps the most interesting point made in this article is that Rope Access jobs provide a salary “disproportionate to the amount of training it takes”. As awareness for the industry grows, it will be interesting to see how this affects the average pay rates for Rope Access Technicians.
