Our consulting engineering office located in Marietta, GA currently has a great need for level I, II and III technicians. The Commercial Services division of our consulting engineering department specializes in the design, inspection, testing and installation of suspended access and fall protection equipment on commercial buildings and industrial facilities as well as oversees all rope access projects.

Responsibilities include:

Perform duties of a Level I, II and III SPRAT Rope Access worker within your perspective certification.
Perform standard rope access techniques and complying with ATS strict safety standards and applicable codes
Meet clients and generate proposals for inspections, testing and installations
Perform inspections on suspended access and fall protection equipment in accordance with OSHA, ASTM, ISO, ANSI, IWCA and ASME requirements
Perform load-testing of anchors and suspended access equipment
Assist with the installation of equipment
Perform inspections on other equipment (as needed)
Generate certification reports
Requirements include:

Level I, II and III SPRAT or IRATA Certification
A minimum of 3 years of construction experience having some hands-on experience working with power tools, hand tools, etc.
Required national and international travel documents for projects
Willingness to work occasional night and weekend projects v/s normal day shifts
Strong mechanical aptitude
Be team oriented and have a positive attitude
Strong oral and written communications skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of customer representatives
Good organizational and project management skills
Ability and willingness to lift up to 75lbs and work near roof edges with proper fall protection
Strong safety awareness in a variety of construction settings

Preferred Qualifications:An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree.
Knowledge of façade access equipment is preferred
Familiarity with standard construction codes and processes is preferred
Construction experience is preferred
